brent_pheifferBrent Pheiffer, Robert Boyd and Jeanne Nell of the South African team Intellibus achieved very good results at the South African National track championships. Together, they won gold in the team sprint.

They also convinced in the individual competitions: Jeanne Nell won in the disciplines 1,000-meter time trial and keirin. He also gained silver in the sprint. In the 1500 meter race, he only was beaten by his team-mate Brent Pheiffer.  Brent Pheiffer won the trophy which his father, Wayne Pheiffer, won in the year he was born, 21 years ago. Pheiffer also achieved in the discipline keirin and sprint the second rank.

At the end Boyd Roberts also finished second at the 50 km race. Roberts and Pheiffer also won silver at the team pursuit. The other CASCO athletes such as Renièll Matthysen, Shane Pheiffer, Oliver Stapleton, Maroesjka Matthee or Owen Lloyd also had great results.

Kupfernagel8maiHanka keeps improving her shape on the way towards the Olympic Games in London. After the good results in the World Cup race Tour of Flanders (16th place) and La Flèche wallonne (17th place) she managed to jump on the podium in the prologue of the stage race Festival du Luxembourg for the first time in this road season.

In the individual time trial over 1.7 kilometres in downtown Luxembourg she finished third in 2: 12,980 minutes and missed victory narrowly . Thereby, Hanka also had the misfortune having to go on the track in pouring rain. . Faster than Hanka were only winner Annemiek van Vleuten (Netherlands) in 2: 11,850 minutes,  who could start on dried off road and Judith Arndt (Leipzig) who needed 2: 12,910 minutes.

Go Hanka go, London is calling!

SamuelHorstmannSamuel Horstmann from the Proter Focus Track Team achieved a very good result at the first race of the evening races in Zurich Oerlikon. The young team captain superiorly won the point race against the elite.
